Take the Plunge for Camp Sunshine!

We were Proud Sponsors of the Camp Sunshine “Freezin for A Reason” fundraising event!

Over 150 people attended this great day, and Camp Sunshine raised over $35,000!! That is the highest total they have ever raised at any of their polar plunges. They are sure to do it again next year, so we will keep you updated.

Walk Along for Lupus 2006 Summary

The 13th Annual WalkAlong for Lupus was a overwhelming success.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

We had a beautiful day with more than 1800 people walking to support people with lupus raising money to provice services and find the cause and cure. It was a fun day for the whole family. We will be busy posting the totals and all the walkers who registered at this great day. Keep on checking the walk site for the grand totals and will start posting the pictures shortly. The walk site is still accepting donations, and additional walk money comes in the mail every day.

6th Annual Blue Knights X Poker Run for Lupus

On Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Eisenhower Park we once again had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with the Blue Knights NY X and their motorcycles as they headed out for the 6th Annual Poker Run for lupus.

5th Annual Blue Knights NY X Motorcycle Ride to Benefit the Lupus

Sunday, September 25, 2005 the 5th Annual Motorcycle Ride to benefit Lupus was held by the Blue Knights New York X at Eisenhower Park. Lou Sofia, his wife Janice and their sons are instrumental in helping to organize this event by distributing flyers and collecting raffle prizes. We wish to send them our heartfelt thanks.

2004 Motorcycle Ride to Benefit Lupus

On Sunday, September 19, 2004 the Blue Knights New York X held its 4th Annual Motorcycle Ride to Benefit Lupus at Eisenhower Park. “Ivan” was good to us. The day was a little windy, but sunny. Thank you to Lou and Janice Sofia for all their help in organizing this event. $5,000 was raised.

The Blue Knights New York X held the 3rd Annual Motorcycle Ride for Lupus on September 21, 2003. Over 400 bikers participated in the 85 mile Poker Run.
