On Sunday, October 21st, 2007 we celebrated the 14th Annual Walk-Along for Lupus with the most beautiful weather we have ever had. Many walked in shorts; families basked in the warm, still air seated at the picnic tables, enjoying the live music from the Red, White and Blues band and having their lunch.

Our supporters were generous as always, Greg T got the crowd laughing and ready for a great day, the NY Islanders entertained the kids with their blow up jumper, and our volunteers went above and beyond to make this our smoothest walk yet!!

We cannot express how excited and thankful we are to everyone who supports our walk. We truly had a great time, and hope you did as well. Be sure to join us next year on Sunday, October 19th, 2008.

More money keeps pouring in, and the website is still open for business. If you have more friends who would like to get their donation in, there is still time. The website will be up and running at least through the end of December. If you have a check or cash doantion please bring it or mail it to our office in Bellmore. Be sure to remember to list your name with the donation so we know who collected the donation.

Meanwhile, we are already busy planning our 15th Anniversary Walk-Along for Lupus. We have several suprises in store, so please keep a look out throughout the year on our website, and in our newsletter for updates on this milestone event.
