Once again we have chosen another school from the local area as one of our outstanding donors. We are always so thrilled and honored when our local schools choose The Lupus Alliance as one of the charities they would like to fundraise for, and not just one time, but like this month’s donor, they continue to support us year after year. Not only do schools help us raise money, but they also help us spread awareness about lupus and how we can help those with lupus live better lives.

Mount Sinai Middle School Student Council held a Lupus Awareness fundraiser throughout the month of May 2006.

They sold our “Life without Lupus” bracelets and car magnets, and also sold our “Catch a Cure for Lupus” butterflies and hung them in their hallways.

All together they raised $382.85 for us and we cannot thank them enough.
