Lupus Awareness Butterfly Campaign |
We need your help!! If you own a business, or if you know someone who does please help us get the word out about our Butterfly Campaign. This is a simple way for local businesses to help us help people who suffer from lupus.
Here`s how it works: You can order as little or as many Butterflies as you like. No money is required up front. Once you receive the butterflies you then sell them to your customers for $1.00. Ask your customers to sign them, and you can display the Butterflies proudly in your lobby, or front window. We will supply you with brochures on the Catch a Cure for Lupus Campaign that you can have at your registers for customers to take and learn more about lupus and the Butterfly Campaign.

We are looking for any type of store or business that would be willing to sell our butterflies. Delis, Pharmacies, Supermarkets, Car dealerships, Repair shops, Movie theaters, Hair salons, Bagel shops, and real estate offices, are just a few ideas of what kind of store or businesses can help us. Whatever kind of business you own, or shop at, we are interested in talking to. This is a great way for local stores and shops to help their customers, friends and neighbors who have lupus.
For over 50 years we have helped support people with lupus in the Long Island/Queens area. Although we have over 2,000 members, and a fully staffed office, we have managed to keep our operating costs under 10.5%. We are hoping that the butterfly campaign will become one of our annual fundraising efforts. The money raised will go towards our support and research programs. The time to fight lupus is now, as diagnosed cases are on the rise. If you have any questions, or if you would like a butterfly info packet sent to you, please contact us.
